Sanad Check
A message arrives saying it is a hadith. Paste it into Sanad Check and it is matched against the indexed collections: you see the closest narrations, ranked by similarity, with the differences from the canonical wording marked word by word.
Where it works
Browser and Android app
Text checks and reference lookup work in both. Checking a picture needs Pro, and “Verify with Learning Heaven” in the share menu is in the Android app.
Three ways to check
Paste a text
In Arabic, English or Urdu. Results are ranked by how closely they match, and a side-by-side view marks where your wording differs from the canonical text.
Look up a reference
Type a collection and number, such as Bukhari 6018 or Muslim 2564a, or a surah and ayah, such as 2:255.
Check a picture Pro
Photograph a forwarded message or choose a screenshot. The text is read from the image and checked in the same way.
With Pro
Image checks are part of Pro.
How a check works
You paste a text or type a reference.
It is compared with the indexed corpus: the Qur’an and the hadith collections in the app.
You get the closest matches, ranked by similarity, each with its collection, number and grading, and the differences marked.
Results are drawn from the indexed text, not generated.
What a result tells you
Match
The text matches a narration in the indexed corpus. You see its collection and number, its grading with the scholar or edition it comes from, and the full narration.
Not found in the indexed corpus
Nothing in the indexed collections matches closely enough. The corpus is finite, so this does not mean the text is fabricated.
Sanad Check reports a match, or that a text was not found in the indexed corpus. It does not judge whether a narration is fabricated: absence from the corpus does not mean a text is fabricated. For a ruling on authenticity, please consult a qualified scholar.

Sanad Check is deterministic matching against the indexed text. It never generates text of its own, never offers a “probable” hadith and never issues rulings.
