About this video

Many Muslims read Surah al-Kahf every Friday. We first check the evidence honestly: two reports are in the Sahih collections (Muslim 809, Bukhari 5011), while the well-known Friday narration is outside the six books and graded hasan by al-Albani (Mishkat al-Masabih 2175). Then we walk through the surah's opening and its four stories (the cave, the two gardens, Moses and the servant of Allah, and Dhu'l-Qarnayn) with Maulana Maududi's Tafhim al-Qur'an, credited on screen.
